This is one of the most bizarre found footage movies I’ve ever seen. In a way it defies reviewing; it’s like “The Room” of found footage movies. At first, I thought it was the worst found footage movie ever. Then I watched it again and thought, if you went in with the right attitude, it’s got a weird comic/horror/late night UHF community theater vibe some people might like, especially since its budget seems to have been about the cost of your last trip to Starbucks. All I can say is that I’ve actually rewatched it a few times, something I can’t say for a lot of other FF movies. And at times, it made me laugh, I think even intentionally. I’ll take this over the new Blair Witch remake any day. This is one of those movies that makes me wonder what the director might do with, say, a few thousand dollars and a few more actors: would he fall on his face, or rise to the challenge? That awful baby doll scene though…sheesh….
