This week, POV Horror is proud to announce three new films to their growing Found Footage Film VOD channel. This week, POV Horror features two classic found footage films from director James Cullen Bressack: the controversial and polarizing Hate Crime (2012) and black comedy horror film To Jennifer (2013). Also released this week is the found footage horror film from Italy: The Plan (2017).

Synopsis: A Jewish family, that just arrived in a new neighborhood, are recording their youngest son’s birthday celebrations on video when their home is suddenly invaded by a bunch of crystal-meth-crazed Neo-Nazi lunatics.
POV Horror Editor: When Hate Crime (2012) was first released, Jame Cullen Bressack’s controversial film garnered numerous awards and became one of only three films in the past decade to be banned in the U.K. by the BBFC.

Featured Film: To Jennifer (2013) – Director James Cullen Bressack
Synopsis: Joey suspects his girlfriend of two years, Jennifer, is cheating on him. He is so convinced that he enlists the help of his cousin Steven to create a Video Diary of his attempt to catch her in the act as well as to document the heartbreak she is putting him through. In an attempt to make her feel guilty, he intends to give this tape to her after catching her in the act.

The Plan (2017)
Synopsis: Five college friends have a reunion in a castle in Piemonte, Italy. The local legend says the queen of the castle, Johanna of Anjou, was blamed for the local drought and famine. Before she was hung by the villagers, she placed a curse in her journal then killed herself. The group is intrigued by the legend, and one night when drunk, they enter the forbidden room where Joanna died. There, they find her journal. The spirit of Joanna returns, and her thirst for revenge is horrific.
